Xhanan is a professional in the beauty industry who is known for being motivational, with the ability to inspire the people around her and fill them with energy. With 25+ years experience as a hairdresser, 10+ years as a salon owner, and 7+ years as an educator she is looking to make a difference, to learn, to inspire, and also to help those around her realize the value of education and its importance for future success. As a passionate artist her expertise lies within many specialties including, but not limited to coloring correction, balayage, styling, cutting, hair extensions (various techniques, placement, and coloring), and a variety of hair treatments. Throughout the years she developed a strong relationship and foundation of everything she does, professionally and personally. Xhanan regularly attends state and global experiences, constantly pushing herself to participate in any or all training and competitions that would allow her to continue down this path of evolving and growing in order to be able to showcase new trends and techniques. She is a strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace and educating. This accumulation of skills lead her to become a L’Oreal Professionnel educator, continuously striving to affect a positive change overall. At a young age Xhanan pushed herself into medical school, but was unfortunately unable to complete her schooling due to the war in her country - Kosovo (former Yugoslavia). This led both her and her husband to move to the USA and settle in New York with their two daughters. Xhanan did not speak the language, but ended up enrolling herself in beauty school. Using her keen eye and creativity she learned to love the art of beauty. However she never knew that she would be so immersed in this passionate industry. She once promised herself that if she ever furthered her career, she would always strive to learn, enhance her skills, and broaden her knowledge, which Xhanan has accomplished and will continue to do so. She has many hobbies including dancing, interior decorating, art, riding motorcycles and cliff jumping.
Marylou first began her career in the industry by attending the Wilfred Academy and has continued her education throughout the years. Her vast training includes studying under John and Suzanne Chadwick of NY, as well as at the Jingles Hairdressing Academy. She later trained with Beth Minardi in all aspects of hair color at her NYC salon, as well as with Paul Mitchell, also in NYC. Mary Lou’s experience eventually led her to becoming co-owner of a Barber and Unisex Haircutting Salon for 7 years, and later to be part-owner of Ariston Hair Design, located in RedBank, for 17 years. She has attended advanced classes at The Sassoon Academy (San Francisco), The Aveda Institute for Haircolor(NYC), Goldwell Master classes (NYC) and is certified in Japanese hair straightening and Goldwell Keratin Relaxers. Mary Lou embraces city trends and change with a creative eye and an objective ear to bring your best look into focus.
Jackie has worked for more than 20 years in the industry and continues to be passionate about her craft. That passion began early on, when she cut hair in Paris while attending school. Her work is influenced by John Sagah’s dry-cutting technique and she has since become a master stylist. Her talents are not limited to cutting, as she is also a master colorist, specializing in blondes and all the latest trends and colors. In addition to keeping current on her education, she is a certified Loreal Professional Expert.
Cari has been working as a hair colorist and stylist in the beauty industry for over 20 years . She’s had extensive training in the latest on-trend color & haircutting techniques in both NY and NJ with Goldwell, L’Oréal, Jacques Dessange from Paris, Toni & Guy, and many more. Maura started her career nearly 20 yrs ago, and credits her long lasting success to on-going education. She believes the key to great hair is to blend modern techniques with natural hair texture, so the look can be easily replicated at home. She also helps to develop the skills of our new talents by being one of our leading in-salon educators. Maura firmly believes true advancement in our field happens by helping others grow professionally. Her ultimate goal however; is keeping her guests happy by simply making them look and feel great.
Rita was the lead Colorist at Cozmo's Hair Color Studio in Freehold, NJ for the last 25 years.She is skilled In corrective hair color and all aspects in this field. American Board-Certified Master Colorist, also trained extensively under other masters like Beth Minardi, Nancy Brown and Brad Johns in New York and across the country. Her personal approach is to ensure each guest walks away feeling their best.
As a professional Cosmo had taught and inspired many of his peers through the years in the Art of Hair Design. He knows that changing with the times is necessary so he continues to redefine his work to suit today's fashion demands.
Maria is an artist of 25+years, formally of Concept Elite in Brooklyn N.Y. As an artist and a master trainer her work has been seen in many trade magazines such as Passion, American Salon, Modern Salon and Salon Trends as well as Hairshow and Platform . Maria’s skill for cutting and styling, passion and commitment to excellence is evident in all she does. Certified in various types of keratin treatments. “I love connecting with my client, making them beautiful and happy. It is a great reward.”
Jeannine began her journey in the beauty industry in 2006. A North Jersey native, Jeannine spent 6 years of her career working above the Driscoll Bridge. In 2012 she moved to Monmouth County where she has been servicing clients in hair and makeup ever since. Education is extremely important to her which is why she is currently in the process of the Goldwell Master Colorist Program and is also a freelancer for MAC Cosmetics. Her current certifications for hair are through: Sexy Hair Concepts, Bio Ionic, Nioxin, GK Hair, Wella USA; Colors of the World Certification,DEVA Curl Care Consultant-Curlaboration Certicication, Framesi: Mastering the Palette, Discovering Italian Style, Methods of Color Correction, Framesi Italian Style “Finishing and Evening Hair”, Lasio, and Juvexin. Her current certifications for makeup are through: Trucco Makeup, Beauty Makeup Artistry; graduate of The Makeup Designory NYC 2007, Temptu Pro Airbrush Certification, and an employee of MAC Cosmetics since 2009 with two certifications in Application and Lesson. Fee is a Hong Kong born and Manhattan raised, one of a kind, hair dresser. As a kid, she always enjoyed the thrill of going to the hair salon with her mom, with the smell of hair spray filling the air. Her work began at Vidal Sassoon, where her passion developed and she began training. Shortly after, she branched out to the widely known company, Bumble & Bumble in New York City. During that time, she gained skills in hair styling and coloring. After spending 15 years there, she decided to bring her talents a little closer to home in New Jersey. Most recently, she has learned how to do beautiful eyelash extensions. Fee loves her craft, and believes that education is key to success. Her hair styling career will continue to be filled with lessons and learning.
Creativity was Dana’s driving force which led to her interest in the beauty industry. She gets great pleasure out of getting to use her creativity to help her clients look and feel their very best. Dana has been a stylist/colorist for over 25 years. She continues to improve her skills through advanced training from Bumble and Bumble and Toni & Guy, both of NYC, taking her career in professional beauty to the next level. Dana is a master of her craft, specializing in coloring, custom blending, highlights, lowlights and corrective coloring, then completing the look with a fabulous haircut!
Dina has been an Esthetician/Licensed Skin Specialist and Eyebrow Design expert since the year 2000. With over 20 years of experience and a passion for eyebrow correction she has evolved into a skilled and highly sought after Eyebrow Expert within the tri-state area. Her concentration lies in the art of Eyebrow design, tinting, styling, shaping, correction and restoration. She is extremely passionate about helping to restore brows to their full original and former beauty, paying particular attention to each individual’s natural brow line, face shape, and bone structure, thereby creating a look that is youthful and perfectly compliments the eyes and face. She has an eye for detail and will not settle for anything less than perfection suitable to the individual. Her unique technique keeps the brows looking full, flawless and clean during the corrective process and its growing stages. Brianna is our front desk receptionist that ensures each guest is met with a greeting and a smile. The positive and upbeat atmosphere of the salon is what attracted her to begin her journey with Je T’aime. She takes pride in making sure each client is seen, heard, and pampered throughout their entire experience here at the salon. Brianna has a passion for working with people. Her experience in customer service for the last 10 years as well as her degree in psychology has helped her thrive in a high volume environment like Je T’aime. “People are my passion. I enjoy making people laugh and feel happy and comfortable. Everyone needs a little kindness in their life and the salon gives me the chance to spread positivity each day.”
